Wedding Season at Fig!

Wedding season is well underway and we've been lucky enough to be part of some brilliant weddings already this year, with a few more lined up over the summer.

One of the things we enjoy most about weddings is how different they all are. We've catered in barns, village halls, peoples homes, country houses, gardens and marquees in the middle of fields. Every venue brings something different, and we've ended up cooking in some interesting places over the years.

Marquee weddings can be a bit more challenging than venues with fully equipped kitchens, but that's all part of the job. There's a lot of planning behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly, whatever the setting.

We're often there for a big part of the day, helping with drinks as well as food service, so we get to see plenty of the celebrations. We hear the speeches, see families and friends coming together, and watch months of planning finally pay off.

There's a huge amount for couples to think about when organising a wedding, so we always try to make the catering side as straightforward as possible. We're happy to get involved, answer questions and help with the practical details that make the day run well.
